Press releases tend to rank high in Google and other search engines. It is because of the constant publishing of new text content, and the traffic that such sites receive.

Your online marketing campaign should include submitting your press release to free press release distribution sites. You can go to PRGalaxy.com first, then do a Google search to find more sites like it.

When submitting your press release, make sure it is spell checked. One thing that will prevent fast approval of your release is when you submit an end-product riddled with misspellings. Another common issue is grammar.

Press releases should be submitted whenever your company or person of interest has something newsworthy to announce. It could be that your company has acquired new land for drilling, or executives are donating their bonuses to a charity in Haiti.

Your press releases can also be a source of reputation management. This is because of the press releases ranking high in search engine results. They can be more powerful than bad press in most cases.

Not in the way you may think based on all the bad press it received. The fact is that the company had contracts with it’s employees. It was smart business to fulfill those contracts and pay-out the bonuses. Otherwise they would have faced lawsuits. People are crying foul all over but come on. Seriously? We are in America. We force people to honor their contracts.

We need to stop bickering and get business back to normal. The fact is that we are wasting time fighting back and forth about crazy stuff, and bailing out the auto industry which does not deserve it in the first place which is causing us to get further into a mess. We are still not addressing the issue at hand. That issue is the hundreds of thousands of small businesses that are failing every single day because of a lack of customers, clients, and sales.

I’m sure there are multiple solutions. But until we start thinking of them then we are not doing anything helpful. It is like putting a band-aid over a bullet wound.

Comments

March 20, 2009, Josh writes: AIG did not put these bonuses in the contracts, Senator Dodd and Tim Geithner are responsible. They were either originally in Sen. Dodd's bill or were slipped in at some point, but if the legislation wasn't being shoved through Congress someone might have had time to read it. Timothy Geithner has no excuse why this should have happened under his watch, our own government is responsible.
That being said, it's wrong to tax these people 90%. No matter how mad we are, we can't legislate out of emotion, and it's unconstitutional to pass a bill of attainder like this. Think about it: are you really comfortable having a House that was able to pass legislation taxing a group of people 90% so quickly? They did this within one day with ease; what's going to happen if they decide WE need to be taxed more?

March 20, 2009, admin writes: Agreed. The taxing was a bad call and only done to make "some" people look good. It is basically the modern version of a witch hunt to do so because the call was made to please an angry crowd.

March 20, 2009, admin writes: Also, from what I understand, the bonuses were already there. The part which Senator Dodd and Tim Geithner were responsible for were placing the loophole in the legislation that allowed the bonuses to be paid out with the bailout money. But the contracts were already in place before that.

Copyright © 2008
This feed is for personal, non-commercial use only.
The use of this feed on other websites, except for rss news reader websites, breaches copyright. Let’s say for example you just got out of a marriage with someone and that person decided to tarnish your name on the internet with lies so you could not ever get a date again. Or perhaps you go in for a job interview and they google your name to find some news article about a previous lawsuit when you worked for another company.

Your name is your domain and it should not be messed with. That is why we offer Online reputation management. This post is to simply clearify our pricing structure. There are many that come to us with a low budget in mind. Our reputation management services start at $3,000 which is in the higher budget range because of the tedious time consuming work involved in burying defamation. New content has to be published regularly on multiple servers with different ip classes. The utilization of social networks is also a part of the process.

If you are seriously thinking about protecting your brand you should do so BEFORE someone posts defamation online. By getting ahead of the game you make it much easier to manage in the future.

The rat race. The definition by Robert Kiyosaki is basically a rat wheel that you constantly run on split up in pie slices. Each slice can be a paycheck, a liability, or an opportunity.

Getting out of the rat race means that your passive income exceeds your monthly expenses. Passive income is money that you make on your own rather than get by working for someone else. You can obtain passive income by buying and selling stocks, investing in real estate, and starting a business.

The key to your businesses success is to lower the expenses and bring in the profits. In order to do that you have to learn how to use leverage. For example if you bought a $150,000 2-unit property you would not pay $150,000 in cash. You would offer the least amount of out of pocket cash and get the seller to finance the balance, or take out a loan. In business, you would seek out strategic partnerships with other companies that help your company grow and run more efficiently.

Strategic partnerships would be maybe a call center that handles pay per performance cold calling. They would work hard to make a sale so that they make a profit. Such a partner would cost you zero risk because in order for you to pay them any money you would be getting money from the new sale to cover that payment.

The golden question is how do you compete with outsourcing when India and other countries have such cheap labor costs. The answer is you avoid cheap gigs. If you consistantly bid on cheap gigs you are bound to attract cheap clients on a regular basis.

Your costs for web design should not be less than $30 an hour. Unfortunately you can find developers in China for $4 an hour. The benefit to you is that when a company that has the money decides to outsource instead, they usually get what they pay for and end up knocking on your door in the end.

Aim for those larger gigs that pay $2,000 or more for a 10 page static website or $5,000 minimum gigs for web development. By targeting such clients you can do less worrying about your operating costs and focus solely on your clients. You will also lessen demand for cheap developers as they show their true worth. You should avoid being the $5,000 expert with a $1,000 income.

You will notice that the average Joe that works 40+ hours per week seems to live paycheck to paycheck. Even the middle class seem to overlook leverage and their entire life is spent paying off credit card debt.

As a business, your leverage starts when you hire people to do the daily tasks that take up so much of your time. A company should have a complete sales force to bring in and close leads; a team of developers (or workers) to get the actual work done; and customer service people to handle client relations and general questions about your business.

In addition to leveraging your time, it is necessary to manage the entire team with a weekly meeting. This will allow you to make sure everyone is on the same page and are no less motivated than they were when they started working for you.

While a team is an important thing to have, it means nothing unless you can treat your employees with respect and compassion. Your employees need to know that when they go to work for you they will not be bored out of their mind. Your workforce should remain strong and efficient.

We specialize in removing defamation from the first page of Google and other major search engines.

Clean my name in Google:

Your name is your most valuable asset. But what happens if someone posts your name online and uses a bunch of lies? In this day where everyone Googles everyone, even employers, you can be turned down for jobs or lose customers.

We have found that sometimes a bad relationship ends with one of the people posting the other as a cheater or some other claim. They do this to destroy any chance of the person having a good relationship with someone else.

In addition to the above, there are many examples where people have posted personal information about underage children anonymously and the website where it is located refuses to take it down.

Defamation by competitors:

We have come across many issues in the business world where a competitor would post defamation online at various complaint websites. This is solely to destroy the competition. The problem is that even if the information is false, it can be damaging to the victim company.

Bury bad press:

Our job is to bury bad press. The reason why you contract us is to replace negative search engine results with positive press that you control. We use various methods to do this including but not limited to Press Releases, Article Publishing, Social Networking, Blog Posting and Linking.

Click here to repair your reputation and restore your online brand

Sample offending websites: Ripoffreport, Rip Off Report, CheaterDB, Complaints, BBB, Complaintsboard, iRipoff,
