Well, today I stopped by my blog to check stats and I noticed my homepage has a PR2. It was a zero until today. Additionally, the blog is a PR1.
It isn’t great or anything. Other sites we own have high PageRank. I just wanted to give the heads up that a PR update took place this morning and you should all rush to your sites to see what yours is.
You can easily monetize your website with adsense if you follow the guidelines and market your website on a regular basis. Google has guidelines on where you can place ads. It is not specific, but rather a “don’t do this” sort of thing. An example of what not to do would be to place adsense right next to your navigation so that people accidentally click on the ads when they are trying to move around your website.
Adsense works best on websites that already have traffic coming to them. Sometimes it is best to handle your marketing first, especially for social networking websites. This will show visitors a clean website with no ads so they feel better about hanging out there. When you get regular users then you can seamlessly ad adsense into your design but without cluttering up the website. The last thing you want is a messy looking site filled with ads.
You should match the ads into your design the best you can. If your design has a black background then your adsense should have a black background with light text, and links.
You can use text, images, or list items for adsense depending on where you are placing the code. You can also add video ads.

To answer a question, inserting rollover text into a web page using dreamweaver cs3 is easy. It is a matter of some simple css work. Unless of course you are using graphics then you are probably working with rollover images even though it looks like text.
When using dreamweaver you will notice on the right side panel an area for css. You right click on that area and create a new class, or a new stylesheet if none has been added yet. You then set the properties for the text. IF it is a link then you want to set the standard, visited, and hover properties or you will end up with one of those ugly purple links after it is clicked on. The visited attribute tells the browser to reset that style to the standard setting so it looks the same after it has been visited. The hover attribute lets you show underlined text or a different color text. There are other goodies but I am not getting into all of that right now.
If you are working with rollover images then you need to insert image elements, then select rollover image. You would select the standard image and the hover image along with the alt text and a name for the image being called in the javascript. Simple as that.

We are playing with the idea of releasing free wordpress themes. Not only free, but custom. Custom? Yes. Custom. Basically how it would work is you would comment here requesting a theme based on an industry, for example: event planner. We would design an event planner wordpress theme and make it available free for download.
## The catch:
First off, you have to remember that free does not take up the bulk of our time. Free does not pay the bills so you cannot get upset with us if we do not design the theme you want, or at all for that matter. We might decide that some themes are better ideas than others and they would get priority.
Additionally, free means we will make it available to anyone to download regardless if it was your idea or not. So you have to consider that the theme will not be unique because others will be downloading them. We do custom themes for $350 currently that you can own uniquely if that is what you want. If so then contact us using our contact form.
The last catch is that free themes will require a link back to us in the footer. Someone may see your blog and want to know who designed it. We think it is only fair that we should get that credit don’t you agree?
